There is a truth here. Most of us do not appreciate the fullness of our worth. Growing up in a world that values perfection we grow up failures, might-have-beens and wannabes. No matter how much we try, there is always someone better. No matter how much effort we invest, we are led to believe that we could have tried harder. The result? Henry David Thoreau said it well. “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” We live stunted and stifled. We fear failure and stop living to the fullest of our possibilities.
But one day, Heart arrives. Jesus enters your reality. The Father had been drawing you and wooing you, and finally you opened the door a crack to see if His love was real. As you peered out, the brilliance of Love captured you. You met Him, you were introduced to His Son and you were embraced by His Heart. You found yourself wrapped in love. A love that has always been for you and sees the lies you believe. Love that desires to replace these lies with truth. Alone, your greatest hopes remained only dreams grown dim over the years. Amidst His love, fused heart-to-heart, all is possible. The Lover has arrived. He shares His heart with you and draws from within you more than you ever dared dream. In Him, with Him, you are no longer a has-been or wannabe but experience every potential, possible.
