Michelangelo stood staring at a 6-ton piece of marble. When asked why, he responded that he was envisioning the sculpture (David) that lay hidden within the stone and what he would need to chip away to reveal it. There is also a masterpiece within you, that is you. Together we will do the work to expose the masterpiece you are.
We bring a faith-based approach to life's trials. We are Biblical counselors but not limited to Scripture. We individualize our approach and may incorporate practices and advances from neuroplasticity, quantum science, heart-brain research, meditation or tapping.
Our staff provides counseling and coaching to Christians and non-Christians, alike. People come to us struggling and hurting in relationships, circumstances, and behaviors. We walk with people through their depression, anxiety, worry, fear, rejection, grief, marital issues, the pain of their past, chronic habits, or controlling behaviors.
Services We Provide
Counseling – We offer one on one, family and marriage counseling most often on a weekly or biweekly basis.
Intensive Counseling – Offered for those who do not live locally and desire a short course of intensive counseling over 3-5 days. Typically we combine 2-4 hours of counseling with daily homework assignments.
Coaching – We offer Life Breakthrough coaching.
It is possible for some services to occur via Skype, FaceTime, Zoom, or WhatsApp.
Vicki Frydrych is an ordained minister with more than 15 years of Biblical counseling experience. She completed a Master's of Arts in Biblical Counseling from Global Grace Seminary, Scope Ministry International's Biblical Counseling Program and is a Certified Life Breakthrough Coach. She leads small groups, seminars, classes and trains others. Vicki holds a doctorate in pharmacy with a fellowship in Infectious Diseases. Vicki loves living in Utah with her husband.
Her heart's desire is to walk with people until they believe every good thing that God says about them. This happens as they are introduced to intimate relationship with the Lover of their soul.
Masterpiece Counseling was founded and incorporated as Grace Fellowship International in 1969. There have been offices in Denver, Amarillo, and Oklahoma City doing business as Grace Ministries and now in Utah operating as Masterpiece Biblical Counseling. The ministry is based upon the finished work of Christ, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the operation of grace in our lives.
What We Believe
The foundation of Masterpiece Biblical Counseling is the gospel message, the biblical revelation of what was done for humanity in Christ Jesus. We accept that there are many beliefs, understandings, and practices that divide believers such as gifts, healing,
ordination, baptisms, translations, etc. These differences do not take away from the gospel’s power to transform lives.
We believe Jesus Christ restored us to peace with God. (Romans 5:1)
We believe all died with Christ and all rose to new life as new creations in Him. (Galatians 2:20, 2 Corinthians 5:17)
Must you believe exactly as we do?
Having doubts or questions does not necessarily prevent counselees from seeing results. God is not limited by such things. Scripture tells us “He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rains on the just and unjust.” (Matthew 5:45). In this verse God blesses whomever He desires. He desires to bless the needy even while they doubt. In Mark 9:14-27 a man comes to Jesus on behalf of his son with a mute spirit that appears to cause him seizures. He begs Jesus, “If You can do anything have compassion on us and help us.” Jesus responds telling the man, ‘If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.’ Immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.” Jesus’s response was not to chastise the man for his unbelief. His response was to heal the child.
Christ knows our struggles. He knows that in our trials we may doubt. Yet, He remains, “closer than a brother” (Proverbs 18:24), a God who “will not leave us or forsake us” (Hebrews 13:5b) and One who is able to make beauty from our ashes. (Isaiah 61:3). It is
for this reason that we work with people that sometimes don’t believe exactly as we do.
It is our privilege to walk alongside any person knowing God is “no respecter of persons” (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11) and will
love them where they are.
According to Scripture we are, now:
Chosen by God (1 Pet 2:9)
Forgiven (Colossians 2:13-14)
Free from condemnation (Romans 8:1)
Never alone or forsaken (Hebrews 13:5b)
Righteous (Romans 8:10, 2 Corinthians 5:21)
Perfect and complete (Colossians 2:10, Hebrews 10:14)
Of great value and worth (Matthew 10:30-31)
Completely accepted (Romans 15:7)
God’s masterpiece (Ephesians 2:10)
A victorious overcomer (1 John 4:4, Romans 8:37, 2 Corinthians 2:14).
